Description
Valencia oranges are the late-season citrus of the Nile Delta, harvested when the fruit has had time to build its full juice content. Thin-skinned and heavy for their size, they press easily and give a bright, balanced juice.
Packed in ventilated 10 kg cartons, sized and graded for retail and food service.
Citrus orchards line the irrigation canals of the Nile Delta, where rich alluvial soil and long sunny days give Egyptian oranges their colour and sweetness. Valencias are picked last in the season, from late winter into early summer.
